This small plantation near the village of Ugley Green, consisting of conifers with oak, ash, wild cherry and hornbeam, was given to the Woodland Trust in 1992 by Rosalind 'Linnet' Latham. An additional area to the west was planted up to local residents' design in 1997 as one of the Trust's 'Woods on your Doorstep' projects.
